Great news! I got accepted into the Algonkian online writing program. Here's the "bad" news: The program requires I be working on a commercially viable novel. The novel I pitched them that got me accept was a dark fantasy idea that has the working title "The Lucid Hosts." The Remnants of America series, for all its bombastic charm (if I do say so myself) is not commercially viable. Here's why: Editors don't like over-the-top, offense, off-color political satire. Its not marketable. Go figure! (That's a joke). Soooo for the few Remnants of America fans out there (all 9 of you or so) I hate to tell you but, The Genderless is on hold. I have to shelve it until I finish The Lucid Hosts. But not to worry; I will return to the Genderless while I am shopping The Lucid Hosts and finish it and release it right away self-pub. So it will get there. Its just on hold for a bit. It will just be that much more awesome when it comes out!
